Building Predictive Health From the Bathroom Up
Steve Waddell views the bathroom as one of the most overlooked frontlines in healthcare. It’s where hydration, hygiene, mobility, and daily routines quietly reveal early signs of decline. At Nasoni, Steve leads the development of Sense™ by Nasoni and the Healthy Habits Index™, a radar-based, camera-free system that transforms everyday routines into life-saving behavioral data. By detecting gait changes, functional drift, and disrupted habits before a crisis, he’s helping caregivers and clinicians move from reactive emergency response to predictive prevention—supporting aging in place with both

Steve Waddell’s career began in heavy industry and complex systems. At Newport News Shipbuilding, he architected a risk management process for nuclear aircraft carrier programs that became an industry best practice and helped avoid over $1B in cost. As Vice President at Reed Integration, he helped grow the company from startup to multi-million-dollar, Inc. 5000 recognition by building training programs and strategic alliances with organizations like NASA and Fortune 500s. "I have gotten to know Steve well over the past year, based on a fortuitous assignment as a Subcontractor to his company's prime effort in response to a major government solicitation. This very large potential government contract would be a challenge for a mature established company, but Steve's diligent strategic planning and thoughtful organizational structure will position his firm for this award. Despite many government delays, Steve kept his large disparate team focused on all tasks, adhering to a highly detailed proposal schedule, and constantly exercised excellent judgment throughout the process to keep the team functioning with no crippling issues. He is pleasant to work with when the going gets tough. I would eagerly join his firm on another response to a competitive solicitation, and will certainly make every effort to recruit Steve to any suitable solicitation or program management contract execution opportunity when my firm." serves as Prime.

"I met Steve while working at Genimex as he was introduced to me through a partnership I established with an industrial design firm. His enthusiasm for his business was contagious and I immediately knew that we would want to partner with him and do his manufacturing. We also choose our clients and when a founder is as excited but also professional, experienced, realistic and capable as Steve, Genimex truly wants to build their success with them. It was a delight to follow his progress with Nasoni as he was getting ready to go into production, as well as, getting to know him as a person and not just a founder. A true joy to work with and I look forward to continuing following his future success with Nasoni and other businesses. I hope that our professional paths cross again and we can work together in the future."
